As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections begin to gather momentum, Eko-Efun (Ukwu-Nzu) indigenes resident in Agbor, Delta State, have declared their total support for the aspiration of Engr. Kelvin Uche Okolie to represent Aniocha North Constituency II at the Delta State House of Assembly.

The endorsement was unanimously adopted during a meeting held on Monday, July 6, 2027, where members resolved to support Engr. Okolie’s ambition irrespective of political affiliation.

Speaking at the meeting, the Coordinator of the group, Mr. Eleazar Ikadi, described support for Engr. Kelvin Uche Okolie’s aspiration as non-negotiable for every Ukwu-Nzu indigene.

According to him, Engr. Okolie has consistently demonstrated philanthropy and a commitment to the welfare of the people long before declaring his intention to seek elective office.

“All of us here are witnesses to Engr. Kelvin Uche Okolie’s philanthropy and benevolence even before seeking elective office,” he said.

He added that electing Engr. Okolie would provide an opportunity to consolidate on his longstanding contributions to the community, attract greater government presence to Ukwu-Nzu, and facilitate sustainable development across Idumuje/Odiani and the newly created Aniocha North Constituency II.

Mr. Ikadi also urged all Eko-Efun indigenes to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration and transfer exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to obtain or transfer their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to their home constituencies, which according to him, will enable them to fully support Engr. Okolie at the 2027 elections.

He further encouraged Ukwu-Nzu indigenes resident in Agbor to actively canvass support for Engr. Okolie among fellow Ukwu-Nzu indigenes, residents of Idumuje/Odiani, and other eligible voters they interact with in the course of their daily activities.

Mr. Ikadi called on Ukwu-Nzu indigenes at home and in the diaspora, residents of Idumuje/Odiani, and all supporters of good governance within Aniocha North Constituency II to rally behind Engr. Kelvin Uche Okolie’s candidacy, expressing confidence that his election would deliver quality representation and ensure a more equitable distribution of the dividends of democracy.

Present at the meeting were; Mr. Emmanuel Afuaka, Ebube Jude Yeolawa, Temi Osehenye, Osalele Peter, Benedicta Ikade, Okolie Samuel, Okonji Azuka, Pius Anene amongst others.
